Multi-Function RD294 Floor Tool
Our best multi-surface combination floor tool for central vacuums. The Wessel-Werk RD294 is adjustable and built for use on all textile and hard floor coverings having a cleaning width of 11.5 inches. Using the RD294 on hard floors requires you to only move the toe-operated switch, releasing the hard floor engaging bristles. The polypropylene bristles are strong enough to clean any hard floor surface from tile, wood, linoleum and even concrete. The bristles are packed tight to give the tool a firm base and are evenly wrapped on the sides of the tool, not just front and back. The bristles on this brush are castle cut with slots on the brush surface to let dirt into the air path of the vacuum, not knocked along front of the brush like a broom.

Using this tool on your CV system will also allow you to clean carpets, rugs and throw rugs of any type utilizing the high suction of the vacuum that is evenly applied to the floor by the unique design of the tool. The CV1155-LV Multi-Floor kit can easily be converted to a Turbo kit by just adding the Wessel-Werk TK280-32 turbo nozzle. Turbine powered nozzles greatly increase the cleaning efficiency on carpeted areas with faster removal of surface debris and enhanced performance in embedded dirt removal. Turbine powered tools do not enhance hard surface cleaning, only cleaning of textile floors.

Turbine powered carpet nozzles like the TK280-32 and Turbocat Zoom use the airpower to drive the spinning brush roller that sweeps the carpeting at high RPM's. Turbo nozzles are very effective at removal of surface debris (pet hair, lint) and also aid the removal of embedded dirt (sand, grit). If your home has a higher traffic load with children and pets, adding a turbo brush will increase efficiency and speed when cleaning small areas of carpeting or area/throw rugs. While most every CVS attachment kit will include the three basic above the floor attachments: dusting brush, upholstery tool and crevice tool, we have included the best cleaning tools made in the USA by Centec Systems in our custom CV1155-LV attachment kit.

In every cleaning action, it is the tool at the direction of the user that gets the job done. Quality above the floor cleaning tools, just as with the RD294 combo floor tool, not only get the job done faster but get it done better. Here also we had many choices available, and we selected some of the best for inclusion in our custom kit.

If you use your vacuum to clean above the floor or for other utility work, a dusting brush is often the tool you will use. Unfortunately the round dusting brush included with most vacuums has an inconvenient design and may have bristles that are too short or made of material that is inflexible, leaving dust behind on the surface being cleaned.

Centec Systems DB800 brush is unique and addresses many of the problems of regular dusting brushes. With an oblong shape instead of a round one the tool can reach many areas, particularly corners, where round tools can not clean. The flattened head also aids in getting the tool into tight spots where a round brush may just be too big across. The bristle set is the best natural fill that is dense and heavy. Long and flexible enough to provide the proper dusting action the bristles are held into the nozzle body with a shoe that is clamped onto the bristle and formed into the nozzle's shape. The entire bristle set can easily be removed from the nozzle case for cleaning or replacement. The DB800's soft vinyl case will clean furniture without damage and will not leave marks on painted surfaces like plastic tool cases. Inside the dusting brush is a bristle support that prevents the natural fill from folding into the tool, even with the high suction of central cleaning systems.

The deluxe vinyl upholstery tool included in the CV1155-LV is 6" (152mm) wide with a scalloped bottom plate insert and a grooming brush. The shoe design insures continuous air-flow without the need for a suction reducer, eliminating "seal off". The brush strip gently engages upholstery to lift debris and groom surfaces.

The brush also helps to remove hair, pet fur, lint and other clingy soils that suction alone will not remove. The soft outer cover will not mar light colored furniture or scratch soft surfaces and the friction fitting connector will allow use directly at the end of the hose or with any wand extension.

Our unique crevice tool is 13" (330mm) long with flat profile and slots for those "hard-to-reach" corners and crevices where dust and debris can hide. Slots provide additional airflow along the cleaning surface underneath furniture and cabinets. Made of textured ABS plastic the crevice tool is strong enough to take abuse but also just a bit flexible to keep it from breaking.

Most often crevice tools are used for cleaning areas and objects never conceived of by the engineers, and are jammed into, next to, under and between anything and everything. Realizing long ago that crevice tools are used often, and often abused, the crevice tool was redesigned to stand up to rigorous use. The extra length of the crevice nozzle, a full 13 inches, helps you to continue jamming, pushing and prying the crevice tool wherever you need to clean.

Aluminum Telescopic Cleaning Wand
No more Stooping. No more Twisting. No more Hassle. To further complement the lightweight Plastiflex low-volt hose we include a telescopic wand made of aluminum that is less than half the weight of conventional steel wands, only 10 ounces, comparable to plastic with 10 times the strength.

The new telescopic wand has a black finish and adjusts fully from 22.5 inches to 39.5 inches in 1 inch increments. The latching mechanism is a finger operated stepped lock ratchet. This design is easy to use and lock into the desired height allowing the tool to be resized on the fly for the user. The latching system is internally sealed from the dirt control tube for improved air-flow. The tool end of the wand is friction fitting for easy on, easy off performance and the hose end is button lock. Imagine cleaning stairs with a compressed wand that does not require you to hold your arm up to vacuum - less fatigue and much safer.

Cleaning overhead is also easier due to the lower weight of the telescopic aluminum wand and your reach can be extended even farther with the addition of two utility wands. Hose & Attachment Storage
To keep your tools in reach while you clean floors, the CV1155-LV includes the wand mount tool caddie to keep your three above the floor tools on hand, ready for use. The wand caddie snaps onto the telescopic aluminum wand and provides three connectors to store the dust brush, crevice tool and upholstery nozzle. If you prefer, the wand caddie can also attach to the ABS utility wand instead. Having your basic 3 in reach at all times can increase efficiency and give you the opportunity to do detail cleaning when needed.

To keep all of your tools neat and tidy storage is provided via a mesh storage bag with carry straps. The perfect place to store all of your tools including above floor nozzles and floor cleaning nozzles. Providing for "off the floor" storage the CV1155-LV attachment kit also includes a wall mount wand holder. These unique devices mount directly to the wall with included screws or wall anchors and feature a flexing, pivoting rubber strap.
