PVC Adapter facilitates connecting standard 2 inch CVS tube to a 3 inch D/W/V (drain, waste, vent) tube. Popularly used in residential applications to "dress up" a tube exiting drywall, particularly where the main run feeds into the garage or basement through a finished ceiling. The interior stops may be removed so that the adapter can slide fully onto a vacuum tube. A small depression molded into the plastic is designed to be drilled for the low-volt wire, if required.
Used as an adapter in commercial applications where a 3 inch main trunk is used with commercial power equipment. Also used to convert the exhaust to a larger diameter for longer exhaust vent runs.
